About

The Full Story

Welcome! I'm excited to share a bit about myself, my work, and what you can discover here.

Originally from London, my lifelong journey has been fuelled by a deep passion for art, community, and diverse cultures. As a primarily self-taught sculptor, I've refined my craft through the sculpture workshop programs at the Florence Academy of Art. My artistic mission is to reshape narratives and challenge perceptions through the transformative medium of sculpture.

I specialise in fine art that celebrates inspirational figures from underrepresented communities, particularly people of colour, with the aim of challenging stereotypes and fostering empathy. Additionally, I create sculptures of animals in their natural habitats to underscore the importance of respecting our planet and its inhabitants. My work is crafted to be accessible to the visually impaired, ensuring that these stories can be experienced by all. Using recycled clay, each piece reflects my dedication to sustainability in art.

My sculpture Pathfinder of Liberty was selected for the Chianciano Biennale 2024, and Spirito Italiano was a finalist in the Art Unlimited International Open Art Competition 2024. Both Spirito Italiano and Tread Lightly were chosen for publication in issue #6 of the Visual Art Journal, set to be released in August 2024.

Mission

My mission is to reshape narratives and perceptions through the transformative art of sculpture. I create portraits of inspirational figures from underrepresented communities, particularly people of colour, to challenge stereotypes and cultivate empathy, as well as animals to raise awareness about the importance of respecting our planet and its creatures. My sculptures serve as powerful symbols of inspiration, stimulating dialogue and contemplation on justice and equality. I am committed to making our art accessible to everyone, including the visually impaired. Join me in my mission to create a more inclusive and empathetic world through the power of sculpture.

Vision

My vision is to transform the art world and society by reshaping narratives and perceptions through the power of sculpture. I envision a world where sculptures of inspirational figures from underrepresented communities, especially people of colour, are prominently displayed in public spaces and galleries. My sculptures are created for everyone, including the visually impaired. My ultimate goal is a more inclusive and empathetic society, where sculpture promotes understanding and celebrates differences.
